We live in an era of competing and challenging pressure. In moments like this we face a challenge. Do we keep quiet or do we speak out and up for a world in which peace, justice and nonviolence come to life?
The Fellowship of Reconciliation is a movement run for and by its members. At the Annual Council – this year to be held on 21st May 2022 – we will be seeking a new Chair of our Trustee body and some new Trustees to join those already on the board.
The world is continuing to dance to the tune of increased military spending, peace by warfare and denying the catastrophic impact of climate change. With your passion and commitment we can ensure the Christian voice is loud, prophetic and clear – and is shaped and named in ways we can stand alongside those of other and no faith.
We are seeking trustees who will commit to
- Attending a mixture of zoom and in-person meetings to shape and direct the Fellowship (approx one meeting every other month)
- Give their knowledge/skills/expertise when requested
- Offer extra time for any projects they wish to get involved in
We are looking, in particular for ordained people and people with experience in fundraising or resource writing.
Plus – if you are not a member of the Fellowship but want to give your skills then apply for a co-opted space
